ENGL 200 E - Presentation Schedule
If you're not on this list, it is your responsibility to get on it!
Responsibilities for presentations*:
Lead discussion for 15 minutes on the chosen text. Highlight and explain the critic's main claim. Give some historical contexts for the essay. Each group member is responsible for guiding discourse, and no one can sit in the shadows and let others present for them. Draw connections between your chosen text and other texts (literary or critical) that we've discussed thus far. Groups should meet together before presentations so that there is no confusion. The presentation should be planned out.
You may also: 1) prepare a handout, 2) plan an activity for class participation, 3) prepare a list of discussion questions or 4), something of your own devising.
(*For the week you are doing a presentation, you will not be responsible for your page-long reader response that week.)
